Specializing in Closed Head Injury Clients
Samaritan Homes, Inc. specializes in the caregiving of closed head injured patients. We understand the need of support for the patient, as well as the family members and friends. As caregivers, we are prepared and trained for the demanding challenges of the patient’s behavior and physical needs, as well as monitoring of medication and overall health. Our services are designed to help relieve stress on the family members, assisting them in adapting to the patient’s new identity and impaired abilities.

Clinical support and services are provided by professional staff in the areas of speech, nursing, psychology, nutrition, and recreation as outlined in each person’s service plan. The individual’s support and services are developed utilizing positive behavioral support strategies.
Day Programs

The Transportation Services department of Samaritan Homes is responsible for overseeing the safe operation of all agency vehicles. This responsibility includes oversight of the maintenance and repair of each vehicle that are used each day. All personnel, who are drivers, have CDL licenses, and are certified in SCIP, First Aid and CPR.
Vehicles
All vehicles inspected every six months as per D.O.T. Requirements. This rigorous program aimed at prevention ensures scheduled maintenance is performed in a timely manner and that repair issues are identified before they become problems.
